George Caudwell
George joined the firm in 2024 as a New Enquiries Administrator based in our Gillingham office. He can engage with clients and lawyers alike to ensure that our services are delivered in a professional, efficient, and approachable manner from the very beginning.
What George says:
I started with Martin Tolhurst in 2024 as a New Enquiries Administrator. During my time I have enjoyed helping clients with their new queries, ensuring a smooth process and experience with the firm. There is always a wide range of matters received and I enjoy the diversity of the issues ensuring matters get dealt with promptly.
Prior to this role I completed my undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Surrey.
Alongside working as a New Enquiries Administrator, I am working towards completing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) followed by a Masters in Law at the University of Law.
Being in this role has helped to consolidate my SQE studies and visualise legal concepts in a practical context. I hope to use these skills and continue to grow with the firm.
It is rewarding utilising my organisation skills in this role which I gained through studying, working part time and volunteering in the past.
Outside of work when I am not studying I enjoy spending time with my family, socialising with friends, and enjoying the countryside.
If I were not working in law, I would be...
I would be working in finance. I have always enjoyed economics and the logical-based approach to problems using theoretical thinking. I believe it follows law as finance is something which affects us all and the system we live in. I believe knowledge is key and allows us the ability to help others.
