Martin Tolhurst Solicitors have donated 250 Beach Balls to East Stour Primary School in Ashford after anonymous company misprinted the firm’s logo.
Not exactly your every day summer holiday story, meant to be a fun summer gift for the staff, the anonymous print company printed the firm’s logo upside down leaving 250 beach balls without a home! Not wanting to merely throw the beach balls away, Managing Partner, Richard Carter decided to donate them to a local school near their Ashford office in Kent. After getting in touch with the school it was good news for the beach balls and the pupils, who are now the fortunate new owners and with so many available there were enough to go round for some of the teachers too.
Head teacher Mrs Law commented, “We are always grateful when local companies think of their local schools when donating things. The children are over the moon (as are some of the teachers!). A huge thank you to Martin Tolhurst!”
Beach Ball fact - Did you know that the largest beach ball in the world was over 51 feet in diameter and was created in Poland!
