Meet Liza, our newly qualified solicitor!

We are delighted to announce that Liza Anderson has officially qualified as a solicitor, joining our Gillingham branch in the Litigation Department. Liza has been a valuable member of the Martin Tolhurst team since 2018, and her journey from trainee to qualified solicitor has been marked by a diverse and impressive range of experience across various departments.

Liza’s training journey has given her a comprehensive understanding of different areas of law, having worked in the New Enquiries, Commercial, Private Client, and Litigation departments. Her exposure to this wide variety of legal fields has equipped her with a unique perspective and a well-rounded skill set, which she now applies in her specialisation.

"I have been very fortunate during my extensive training with Martin Tolhurst to be exposed to a variety of different areas of law," Liza reflects. “During my training, I developed a keen interest in Dispute Resolution. Being able to support clients navigate the litigation process, which can be a stressful time for them, is extremely rewarding. Client care is of utmost importance to me, and I will always endeavour to make myself available for prompt client updates and queries."

Liza’s focus lies in Landlord & Tenant matters, Civil/Commercial disputes, and Contentious Probate. She has a passion for helping clients resolve disputes efficiently and effectively, and her client-focused approach ensures she delivers excellent service. Her commitment to clear communication and problem-solving makes her a trusted advisor during what can be difficult legal processes.

"I pride myself on being friendly and approachable with excellent organisational skills," Liza shares. Balancing her career while raising a family has taught her the importance of structure and time management, key skills she brings to her role as a solicitor.
