Account Manager - Sittingbourne

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager seeking a new challenge with an award winning firm.

Purpose

Purpose - The role involves dealing with clients buying and selling houses, in addition to liaising with estate agents and internal colleagues.

Job description

The role includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Managing referrals and business from a portfolio of offices. Feeding back on quality of referrals, results of calls and any work needed from the office to convert referrals into instructions.
  • Updating Branch Managers of Group offices on weekly and monthly performance, suggesting improvement where necessary and possible
  • Handling outbound and inbound telephone calls to referred clients selling and/or buying property to secure instructions and business for MTP
  • Working to meet and exceed monthly targets set by NJW/RJC
  • Discussing the benefits of the Conveyancing service provided by the firm and providing quotes where necessary
  • Taking and processing card payments, updating Monies on Account spreadsheet for Accounts department
  • Processing end of day credit card banking.
  • Monitoring and chasing outstanding paperwork from clients
  • Providing information regarding referred clients to Fee Earners and secretaries within the firm via Welcome Call Summaries and ad hoc communications/conversations
  • Undertaking administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and updating client details
  • Accessing and inputting data on to the firm’s client database and Excel spreadsheets
  • Involvement with Weekly and Monthly Departmental Reports on referrals, Instructions, Exchanges and Conversions
  • Working as part of the New Business Team
  • Providing cover for absent colleagues
  • Handling all confidential information discreetly
