Cathy Price

Conveyancer

Cathy joined the firm in February 2006 and is based in our Gillingham office.

What Cathy says:

I have been part of Martin Tolhurst Solicitors since 2006, initially joining as a receptionist before discovering my passion for residential conveyancing. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, working my way up through various roles to become a Conveyancer.

After completing my Legal Secretary Diploma with Pitman Training, I trained in all areas of Conveyancing, supporting clients from initial instructions through to exchange and completion. With over 15 years of experience in the Conveyancing Department, I have developed in-depth knowledge of the process and understand the importance of clear communication, efficiency, and client care.

How I Can Help You

  • Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases – Assisting with all aspects of buying and selling property.
  • Client-Focused Approach – Keeping clients informed at every stage for a seamless experience.
  • Experienced & Detail-Oriented – Managing transactions efficiently from start to finish.
  • Guidance & Support – Ensuring clients feel reassured and confident throughout the process.

One of my favourite moments in this role is calling clients to let them know their transaction has completedit’s incredibly rewarding to share that good news!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially keeping up with my two children and their busy schedules! I love travel, city breaks, and keeping active through kickboxing and walking.

I have also taken part in the firm’s charity events, including two 25km walks, helping to raise vital funds for our chosen charities.

If I weren’t a Conveyancer, I would be...

A kickboxing instructor—it has been a passion of mine for as long as Conveyancing. Alternatively, I would love to work with animal charities, though I’d have to resist bringing every cat and dog home!
